Il nome Ingrid le è stato dato dai genitori in onore della star del cinema Ingrid Bergman, l'attrice prediletta del padre. I genitori di Ingrid gestivano un cinema in una cittadina tra Parma e Reggio Emilia, una zona considerata la culla della musica Italiana (dalla classica alla dance).
Ingrid è cresciuta guardando film ed ascoltandone le colonne sonore che, come lei stessa dichiara, hanno fortemente condizionato la sua scelta di diventare cantante. Le pellicole hanno acceso la sua immaginazione e amplificato il desiderio e l'ambizione di poter trasmettere le forti emozione che provava ad un pubblico più ampio possibile. Il percorso artistico di Ingrid inizia con la pittura e la recitazione ma ben presto lei stessa si rende conto che il canto è la sua migliore forma di espressione. Inizia con i piano-bar, piccoli musical e gruppi jazz locali, ma ben presto la sua voce morbida ed unica, insieme con un'incredibile comunicatività con il pubblico durante gli show, la portano ad un incontro con due famosi produttori di musica dance: Larry Pignagnoli e Marco Soncini. Questi le offrono di scrivere il testo ed interpretare una loro nuova ed inedita produzione che per la prima volta utilizza la fisarmonica in chiave dance, e poco dopo, nasce "Tu es foutu".
Il pezzo sbriciola ogni record di passaggi sui principali network italiani, e subito dopo, diviene un hit internazionale. Durante le sue innumerevoli tournée trova anche il tempo di studiare la sua materia preferita e si laurea con lode in filosofia.
Le sue camaleontiche capacità di interpretare ruoli e suggestioni hanno recentemente spinto Ingrid ad esplorare il mondo del pop - swing sino quasi ad arrivare al burlesque. Il singolo "Vive le Swing", nella sua versione club, ha raggiunto il primo posto nella classifica mondiale di DJ Tunes.

In occasione della pubblicazione di "Tu es Foutu 2K12" Ingrid conosce i Réseau, che hanno realizzato le versioni "Original Jazz Mix" e " Chill House Mix" del brano.
Recentemente la collaborazione tra Ingrid e i Réseau si è intensificata e ha dato vita al nuovo singolo "Kiki Swing/Kiki La Belle".
La canzone racconta di una figura femminile fatata, una "silhouette d'amour" di fronte alle cui movenze armoniose il mondo rimane incantato.
E di Kiki "s'innamora" anche il grande trombettista Fabrizio Bosso, che collabora al brano con i suoi preziosi interventi solistici.

The name Ingrid was given by her parents as tribute to the actress and movie star Ingrid Bergman, who was her father's favorite.
Ingrid's parents ran a movie theatre in a small city between Parma and Reggio Emilia, an area known as the cradle of Italian music, either classical or modern. Ingrid grew up watching movies and listening to their sound-tracks which, as herself declares, had a major influence on her decision to become a singer. Movies sparked off Ingrid's imagination and fueled her ambition and desire to convey all her strong emotions and passions to as many people as possible. Ingrid's artistic path started with painting and acting but soon singing turned out to be her most powerful form of expression. She began performing in piano-bars, musicals and as solo voice with local jazz bands, but soon her soft and unique voice, together with an Incredible capacity of interacting with her audience during shows brought her to meet the famous dance music producers Larry Pignagnoli and Marco Soncini. They offered Ingrid to write the lyrics and sing their brand new tune, and soon "Tu es foutu" came to life. The track broke all records of airplay on Italian networks and immediately became an international hit.
After the huge success of her first album "Rendez vous" Ingrid starts an endless number of tours all over the world, and after more than ten years she's still considered one the most talented artist in the dance-music panorama.
Ingrid has released 3 dance albums, 2 chill-out albums, various singles plus a number of joint projects with other artists met all over the word during her performances (Russia, Poland, Greece, Italy).
She has never neglected her culture and personal education: Ingrid has got Degree cum laude in philosophy.
Ingrid's huge talent and outstanding capacity of interpreting new roles and suggestions have recently led her career into exploring the word of Pop-Swing almost getting close to Burlesque. Her single "Vive le Swing" in its club remix has reached N.1 position in world chart DJ Tunes.

Recently Ingrid's co-operation with Rèseau has deeply developed and implemented and has finally lead to her new single "Kiki Swing/Kiki La Belle".
The song tells of a magic feminine image, a sort of "silhouette d'amour" whose melodious moves fascinate the whole word.
